Chapter 2: Morning Light
By the time we got back to the hideout it was two clock in the morning. I wasn't tier at all but I could see Adein was a little sleepy but he never admitted. I went into the kitchen and grab drink from the refrigerator. After that I sat down on the couch and turned the TV on. I then saw something that shocked me. I saw that my brother was missing but for some realized it was little odd that he show up missing I then remember that he did disappear allot I guess this time he didn't show up I sighed 'he's always doing this' but what was that caught my eyes was that they where talking about these creatures appearing around town and then disappearing after taking a victim with them. 'Hmmm what could this be some skim that some mastermind is behind' I thought and changed the channel to something else and the rest of the hour I watch TV. Night fell as I looked down on the sleeping city of Mordal city. My friend Adein was next to me as the wind blow quickly but quietly through the city. I look over to Adein and saw him jumping off the skyscraper that we're on 'here we go again' drive off the build and going after him as I was fall after him with speed. I quickly let my wings out as I was getting down to the ground, before I landed to the ground I hovered a little before land quietly on my feet I could sense that Adein had found something and it was so man stealing some stuff from a store before he got away we're in front of him before he realized it. He slams into Adein as his stolen stuff when flying everywhere we now looking down at the man as he look up scared to death as he knew who we were. "Hand over the stolen thing or you'll be put in jail!" said Adein with a scare but tough tone
Stranger LoveI am not the sunlit wing-print
splayed out on the bedroom wall.
I am not the dark mass forming
in a corner of an airless hall.
I am not the viscous vengeance
where you sink your spinning wheels.
I am not the leaky bucket
hung up on your wishing well.
You are not my soul mate missing
wandering a winter's night.
You are not the sound of angels
singing by a candle's light.
You are not the rasp of fingers
fumbling with a hasp of steel.
You are not the tattered towel
soaking up the things I feel.
I am the oblivious child,
dancing where the wildflowers are.
You are my unwitting captive
lighting up a jelly jar.
